The World's Top Cyber Athletes Compete

The Athletes Are At It Again!

This time in a Castle vs Castle style competition the best hackers from all over the globe will gather together for another game!

Hacking really IS the new eSport. For this Global Cyber event, we’ve selected teams, coming directly from the International Cybersecurity Challenge (ICC) community, from all over the world for an Attack and Defend style game. These hackers are the best of the best, and are each representing their countries to become the grand prize winner!

Let the Games Begin

The game, provided by SimSpace, is designed to equally test attack and defend skills per each team. Each country will be provided a network (their castle) composed of predominantly Windows and Unix boxes and VyOS routers in their DMZ, and a standard set of defensive tools. Each 15 person team will need to protect their castle from BOTH other castle attacks and automated attacks. Scoring will be based on thorough reporting. 

 

Fans, coaches and peers not playing can watch a live stream on Cyber Insecurity featuring shout casters and speakers over the last 3 hours of the event. Through the stream, fans will be able to get updates on recent plays with inside viewing of what occurs, great discussions with cyber experts, and quick views of the leaderboard. 

Game Awards

Awards and scoring are designed to provide equal weight for attack and defend skills demonstrated in the competition. 

Highest Scoring Team

Awarded to the team who accumulates the overall highest combined attack and defend score.
